Aaron Buckingham

Executive Director

Aaron is a Northern Michigan native who grew tired of midwest winters and decided to continue his career serving seniors and their families here in Columbia, SC. Before joining TerraBella in June of 2022, Aaron served an independent living community in Petoskey Michigan for 8 years. Since relocating to Columbia, Aaron and his family (wife Amanda and sons Harper (12) and Grey (6)) have loved their new adventure in South Carolina. When he’s not serving the residents and team at TerrraBella Windsor Lake, Aaron and his family enjoy swimming and exploring South Carolina.

Russell Unthank

Senior Lifestyle Counselor

Russell Unthank joined TerraBella Senior Living as Senior Lifestyle Counselor in 2024 and brings significant experience in senior living. Prior to joining TerraBella, Russell served in operational, sales, and marketing roles at other Columbia area communities. He is excited to help area seniors find their homes here at TerraBella Windsor Lake.

Julie McDowell

Director of Housekeeping

Julie McDowell has gained more than 13 years of experience working on the TerraBella Windsor Lake team. She truly enjoys seeing the smiles on the residents faces when they are completely satisfied with their experience at TerraBella Windsor Lake. Julie is married with five children and eight grandchildren. During her down time away from work, she enjoys reading, painting, crafting, hiking and spending time with her family.
