I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to you and your team. Even through this awful pandemic, the team has done so much to make my mother comfortable, safe, and happy. We appreciate their willingness to deliver items that we drop off to her. Making in person visits available to us has been wonderful as well. You all have made these trying times bearable for us!
My mother has been a resident for 9 years and she is so happy there! We have seen personnel come and go. Seeing the outside changes to the community and hearing about those going on inside increases our confidence in TerraBella and the desire to provide nice surroundings for the residents. Keeping some of the best personnel and hiring new team members have also been encouraging in knowing that she is receiving the best available care.

My Mother has been a resident of TerraBella since March 2020. I visited TerraBella on two different unannounced occasions while looking for a place for my Mother following release from rehab. The on-site team graciously provided an unplanned tour and answered all my questions. During a scheduled visit with my Mother to tour the facility, one of the residents approached us, introduced herself, and whispered to me that she had lived there for 20 years and that it was a loving and safe place for my Mother. Her testimony gave me comfort, and coupled with the impression the team made, gave me the assurance that TerraBella Harrisburg was the right decision for my Mother.
2020 has been an eventful year transitioning from independent living to assisted living at the beginning of the pandemic and then to memory care within a few months. Mom moved into TerraBella just a few days before the formal shutdown. The isolation had a huge impact on her social transition. We did not have time to decorate her room to look and feel like her own before visits were restricted. It was a difficult transition within a short timeframe, however, the team was wonderful through each step. They were flexible and modified indoor activities, including WhatsApp calls for the residents allowing them to stay connected with family during the adjustment of restrictions. The team members went above and beyond to keep residents engaged, active, and cared for even when isolated.
The team is not only a blessing, they are friendly, personable, and caring. My Mom has settled into her new environment well, and I believe it is due to the overall, wholesome nature of the team that cares daily for her. They feel like family to us as well.
