I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at the TerraBella Salisbury community located in Salisbury, North Carolina.
My beloved wife was accepted at that community in late December 2020 during the height of the pandemic. They had made a special room available for family visits until restriction dictated this was no longer allowed. I wrote three letters a week to my wife, which one of the team members took the time to read to her.
On Thursday, March 4, 2021, they telephoned me to advise that my wife was failing rapidly.
They took it upon themselves to move her into an unused room at the end of a hall, erected a plastic barrier, and made it possible for me and my two sons to be with her in her final days. Not only did they make it available for me, they prepared food for me so I could be with her during her demise.
The entire team was wonderful, and kind to my family during this very difficult time for us, and I will be eternally grateful for their kindness.
I hope you will express my deepest thanks to all for what they did for me and my family. You should be very proud of the wonderful community you have in Salisbury.
